Plasma Cutting Services
Using a high-temperature, ionized gas known as plasma, plasma cutting services enable precision cutting capabilities for metal and other conductive materials. It is primarily used for metal sheets, plates, and pipes, providing a faster, more accurate cutting method that produces less waste and fewer heat-affected areas than more traditional methods, such as sawing or oxyacetylene cutting. We offer plasma cutting for a variety of materials, providing a high-precision, fast method to cut metal components to size before or after fabrication.
Capabilities for Plasma Cutting Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
Plasma cutting is a highly versatile process for cutting electrically conductive materials, providing a precision cutting method for a wide range of industrial applications, such as:
- Structural beams and supports for construction and infrastructure
- Body panel parts for automotive repair and manufacturing
- Precision metal parts for aerospace, shipbuilding, and heavy-equipment production
- Exhaust systems, brackets, HVAC components, electrical panels, and more
We provide plasma plate and tube cutting capabilities for aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, as a pre- or post-fabrication option that can finish in-process components to meet your exact specifications.

Other Metal Cutting and Forming Services Available at Linders
At Linders Specialty Company, we offer a comprehensive suite of value-added services and secondary operations designed to support metal bending and rolling processes. We take your concepts from mind to metal, delivering complete components ready to use in your applications. Our full-service capabilities include:
- Sawing: Offers enhanced precision and increased consistency using tilting-head band saws and CAD programming. Metal sawing can achieve vertical band-saw cuts, complex and precision multiple miter cuts, in-process handheld cuts on rolling machines, and oxyacetylene cutting.
- Shearing: Also known as die-cutting, metal shearing uses opposing blades to cut high-precision, tight-tolerance straight lines on flat metal with fewer deformities.
- Press Brake Forming: Uses a specialized pressing tool to create prearranged bends in a sheet or plate of metal with modular and quick-change tooling. Press brake operations enable precise, repeatable multiple bends.
- Welding: With both MIG and TIG welding processes using the latest machinery, and 5-ton and 10-ton cranes to support any size project, we offer metal welding for welding repairs and new projects.
