Services for Custom Metal Bending

With proven solutions for precision, consistency, and craftsmanship, we offer comprehensive metal bending and rolling services, including custom metal bending for specialty metal products, to form complete components, such as cones, handrails, and spirals, that meet your application requirements. Our custom metal bending services create specialty metal products using the following profiles:

  • Plates
  • Sheets
  • Tubes
  • Pipes

If you have questions about custom metal bending or specialty rolling for any other metal profiles, contact Linders Specialty Company.

Spiral Rolling

Part of our custom metal bending services is spiral rolling, also known as pitched or sloped rolling. For components with a coil-like configuration, we can work with an array of stock metal profiles for consistent and repeatable spiral metal components using time-tested capabilities:

  • Maximum Size of 1/2” x 24” Stringer Plates
  • Plan Diameter for Critical Dimension 1
  • Direction and Degree of Rotation for Critical Dimension 2
  • Total Rise or Pitch for Critical Dimension 3

Custom Metal Handrails

We can fabricate custom handrail moldings from BLUM #4428 Steel, $4534 Bronze, or #6934 Aluminum with the following capabilities and features:

  • Applicable to Level and Pitched Rails
  • Minimum Inside Diameter 20 x Width of Rail Cap
  • Special Tooling Available for Your Application

Sheet Metal Cones

With custom bending capabilities, we can provide rolled metal cones for applications, as well as components with cone attachments, achieving outlined specifications for your projects:

  • Rolled and Bumped Cones
  • Complete Fitting and Welding Available
  • Complete Layout and Cutting Services Available
  • Maximum Size of 5/16” A36 Plate x 10’
  • Thicker Plate as Plate Narrows
  • DBL Initial Pinch with Side and Top Sheet Support
  • Minimum Size of 8” Diameter Top Roll

Sheet Metal Rolling with Cone Attached

In addition, we provide press-brake forming for rolled cones, sheet metal rolling, and plate metal rolling processes to meet your needs for complete metal component fabrication.

Pipe and Tube Bending

Our pipe and tube bending capabilities include producing coils from bent pipes or tubes, which can achieve the following specifications:

  • Maximum Size of 8” with 8-5/8” OD XS Pipe
  • Specify Centerline Diameter and Pitch of Coils
  • Minimum Centerline Diameter: 20 x OD of Pipe/Tube
  • Minimum Wall Thickness: 1/32nd x OD of Pipe/Tube

Additionally, we can utilize CNC machines to bend tubes and pipes to offer the following capabilities:

  • Maximum Size of 3” OD x 0.150” Wall (CNC)
  • CNC Rotary/Push Double Stack Tube Bending Available
