Sawing
Linders Specialty maintains a pair of Marvel vertical tilting head band saws with a clamping capacity of eighteen inches by eighteen inches and a feed length of eighteen inches. Beyond the standard use for these saws we have measured their tables and travel paths and programmed them into our CAD system. This allows us to create trimming fixtures to not only precisely trim parts by attaching the fixtures directly to the saws but in ensures consistency by providing a check fixture for every part coming out of our rollers and benders. We can also create compound miter cuts quickly and accurately with a special fixture designed to bolt directly to the saws' tables.
Roll Bending
Linders Specialty has the largest variety of rolling machines in Minnesota and west of Milwaukee. We can roll bend sections from as light as formed sheet metal to one hundred pounds-per-foot beams. We have been in the rolling business since 1975 when we started with a Pullmax Z-23 angle roller capable of rolling 3x3x3/8 angles. Since then we have added both larger and smaller machines to better serve our customers' needs.
Our extensive experience has allowed us to design our own tooling for standard structural sections and pipe and tubing as well as specialty rollers for rail cap, custom formed parts and aluminum extrusions.
Our commitment to quality has never wavered and we continuously strive to maintain the highest accuracy standards through the use of check fixtures and innovative measuring equipment designed specifically for roll bent parts.
If your design requirements include any non-stock shapes contact Linders Specialty for design assistance.

Beam Rolling
|
Linders Specialty has the capacity to roll bend wide flange and structural beams the easy way up to one hundred pounds per foot. Our specialty is accurately rolling trolley beams with curved corners and tangents attached reducing splicing in the field or the shop to provide our customers with a drop-in product. We can leave ends untrimmed if field conditions preclude accurate measurements.
We can roll structural beams (S beams) the hard way if they are the heavy sections and under six inches in section. These are usually large enough for most conveying sections.
We can also split beams into Tees, roll the tees separately and weld them back together to get tighter bends that would otherwise be possible in one piece. Special machinery is required to roll the hard way beyond this. We do not posses this capability at this time. |

Channel Rolling
Linders Specialty has the ability to roll bend mill rolled channels in any size offered either legs in or legs out. We can roll channels the hard way in all bar sizes and up to ten inches in milled rolled sizes. When rolling the larger size channels we stitch weld the toes together to form a box section and plasma split them apart after rolling. Special machinery is required to roll the hard way beyond this. We do not posses this capability at this time.

Pipe and Round Tube Rolling
Linders Specialty has tooling for many commonly available sizes of pipe and round tubing. We can roll single radius parts as well as combined radius parts such as elliptical sections, coils and spiral hand rails. We have developed mathematical calculations that allow us to layout and bend spiral and curved stair rails quickly and accurately. Provide us with the plan diameter, degree and direction of turn and total rise of you stair and we will produce your pipe and round tube rails.

Square and Rectangular Tube Rolling
Linders Specialty is tooled up to bend a wide variety of square and rectangular tube sections. We have designed our tooling to support the corners of the tubes to reduce deformation during the roll bending process allowing tighter roll radii.

Tube Bending
CNC Tube Bending and Push Rolling
Linders Specialty is equipped with a modern CNC controlled Horn 80TBRE two-stack mandrel tube bender with Y-axis boost and push rolling capabilities.
This extremely unique machine is capable of not only precise mandrel tube bending but it can combine the rolling function for large radius bending in the same part in one pass through the machine. This not only lowers run time but lowers set up time and tooling costs. Plastic tooling for pre-polished tubing yields bent parts with no post finishing resulting in enormous savings.

Manual Tube Bending
Linders Specialty uses our Ercolina electric manual rotary tube and pipe bender to produce your parts economically. The set up is quick and repeatable, accurate parts are easy to achieve and short run economy is easily achievable.
We can bend your hand rails, pipe ladders and other parts to eliminate welding and grinding elbows saving enormous costs and shortening lead times dramatically while providing better looking parts.
We can bend pipe and tube to match your samples such as high pressure hydraulic piping for quick turn-around in the event of a failure or plant shut-down repairs.
